Cat Aviation Retires G650ER

Switzerland’s Cat Aviation has retired its sole Gulfstream G650ER as part of its strategy to focus on Dassault Aviation aircraft.

The G650ER, with registration HB-JLO (MSN 6521), completed its final flight on April 30, 2024, traveling from Jersey to Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg via Zurich. Following this, the jet was re-registered to Nomad Aviation under the same Swiss registration.

With the retirement of the 2023 model G650ER, Cat Aviation’s fleet has transformed. It now boasts two Falcon 2000LXS, two Falcon 7X, one PC-24, and a groundbreaking addition, the Falcon 6X, the world’s first of its kind in service.

Nomad Aviation took the G650ER on its maiden flight under their operation on May 1, 2024, flying from Basel to Jersey with stops in Nuremberg, Luxembourg, and Rotterdam. Nomad Aviation’s current fleet comprises two G650ERs, one GV, one Global 5000, one Falcon 7X, one Falcon 8X, and one ACJ319-100.
